Name: Innovative technologies for smart vehicles
Acronym: TEINVEIN
Start date: 01.05.2017 End date: 30.04.2020
Budget: N/A.
Funding source: POR FESR 2014-2020 – Regione Lombardia – Italy
Project objectives: TEINVEIN is a project dedicated to the creation of a basic platform for the development of a fully autonomous vehicle.
The main objectives of the project are:
- Reducing the environmental impact through on board implementation of mechatronic systems to assist the pilot commands that help to adopt less polluting driving strategies
- Increasing road safety for both passengers and pedestrians by monitoring the psychophysical state of the driver and the surrounding environment through the development of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) logics
- The communication of information to and from the infrastructure and adjacent vehicles and facilitating the driving for people with special needs thanks to the aid of pilot commands and the installation of sensors which simplify the driving
Key technology involved: Advanced Driver Assistance (ADAS) e Light Detection and Ranging o Laser Imaging detection (LIDAR/LADAR), Cryptography IoT
Ro Technology output/expected output: Encryption module for communications between vehicle and turret
